Few days back, a daily newspaper reported that actress Mahie Gill had taken to smoking and drinking, so much so that it got her father worried. Mahie said, "I want people to know that my father passed away in 1998! How can he lecture me about anything or give any kind of news to anyone, unless his interview was conducted up in the heaven? The story is a joke. If they wouldn't have mentioned my father in the copy, people would have believed that nonsense! My mother is very upset. Why defame me?" The actress reveals that she rarely socialises and settles for a glass of wine if and when she does. She also admits that she did consume a small amount of liquor on days at 8.30am in the morning for certain scenes in her forthcoming film but that is where it ends!
