The wait has come to an end as the much-awaited Jawan third single 'Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya' composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander is out and is a dance treat from start to finish. Audio giant T-Series has released the foot-tapping song video from the upcoming Atlee directorial showing 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan and 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara setting the dance floor on fire to Vaibhavi Merchant's choreography. 'Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya' in Jawan has vocals by Anirudh, Vishal Dadlani, and Shilpa Rao featuring lyrics by Kumaar and is based on the Shree 420 (1955) yesteryear hit song 'Ramaiaya Vastavaiya' composed by the legendary Shankar-Jaikishan duo to the lyrics written by Shailendra, which was crooned by iconic singers Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi.
The buzz surrounding the Jawan third single 'Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya' has been massive ever since the first two tracks, 'Zinda Banda' and 'Chaleya', turned out to be chart-topping hits and continue to reign at the top. The song has both Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara showing their dance skills and their sizzling on-screen chemistry, which is undoubtedly set to be a major highlight of the film, which is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on September 7. With 'Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya' out, all sights will now be set on the Jawan audio launch set to take place in Chennai on August 30, followed by the film's trailer release at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai on August 31.
The expectations for Jawan are massive and is Shah Rukh Khan's second big release of 2023 after the staggering box-office success of Pathaan, which went on to cross 1000 crores in collections at the box office back in January. The film also marks the big Bollywood launch of director Atlee, actress Nayanthara, music director Anirudh, cinematographer GK Vishnu, and editor Ruben, and each of them will be looking to come out with flying colors on the national stage. Jawan will also see Shah Rukh Khan sharing screen space with leading actress Deepika Padukone, who will be making a special appearance, while Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover, among others, have been cast in crucial roles.
