Divya Spandana, known to many in K-town as Ramya, has played the role of a spunky girl in a number of movies. This time round, she made a bold stand, in real life too! Recently, when she was shooting for her upcoming movie, during the Bharath Bandh, some protestors rounded up her shooting spot, and started attacking her caravan! An unfazed Divya coolly stepped out and had a few words with the protesters, and also emphasised that they shouldn't be damaging other people's property, nor hurting anybody. When her caravan was attacked, her driver and his child were inside it. Tweeting about this, Divya posted, "I don't mind a peaceful protest, but to come to my sets and damage the caravan while my driver and his 8 year old son is seated, is not done." On queries over whether she was arguing with the protesters, she replied, "I got down and told them to leave. those are the clippings are on tv. I wasn't arguing with the protesters for any other reason."

Bold gal indeed! Way to go Divya!
