Comedy actor Sathish is making a comeback as a hero in Conjuring Kannappan directed by debutant Selvin Raj Xavier, who previously assisted Tamil filmmakers Chimbu Devan and Sumanth Radhakrishnan, and features music by celebrated composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. Produced by Kalpathi S.Aghoram, Kalpathi S.Ganesh, and Kalpathi S.Suresh with Archana Kalpathi as the creative producer, the upcoming film is billed to be a horror comedy and is coming out under their AGS Entertainment banner before their highly-anticipated biggie, Thalapathy 68, starring 'Thalapathy' Vijay. Initially titled AGS 24, the wait has now come to an end as the much-awaited Conjuring Kannappan trailer has been released and gives audiences a glimpse at the fun awaiting them in theatres in November.

The Conjuring Kannappan trailer starts off showing Sathish entering an abandoned palace, who later begins experiencing bad dreams. He later approaches Nasser and seeks his expertise, who reveals to him that whatever happens in his dreams, will turn into reality. The Conjuring Kannappan trailer's visuals then show Sathish coming across a possessed being making him run away, with the next scene showing him getting hold of a dream catcher in a well. Sathish goes on to reveal to a doctor played by Redin Kingsley that he finds himself stuck with a ghost in his nightmare, with Anand Raj, VTV Ganesh, Namo Narayana, and Saranya Ponvannan telling him that they have plucked away feathers from the dream catcher, leaving him flabbergasted.

We then see Regina Cassandra making a fiery entry in the Conjuring Kannappan trailer in a mysterious role, who is seen telling someone over the phone to not let Sathish and his family and friends fall asleep. The visuals then progress to the consequences where each person is faced with the challenge of not falling asleep, with the story's crux hinted to be set in the old abandoned palace, where they come across various supernatural entities. Conjuring Kannappan shows plenty of promise with its premise in the trailer, which gives a good sneak peek into what audiences will be getting to witness on the big screen later this month. There is also a sequence set amidst the pre-Independence era backdrop, with Naane Varuvean actress Elli AvrRam also making an appearance. Conjuring Kannappan marks Sathish's return to playing the lead role after Naai Sekar (2022) and alongside a talented supporting cast that excels in comedy, with Yuvan Shankar Raja's music also adding plenty of strength to the film opening in cinemas this month.
