2 States has collected a whopping Rs. 24 crores in the opening weekend itself. The film, starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles, is directed by Abhishek Varman. The film is based on the novel 2 States written by Chetan Bhagat, who has also written story and screenplay of the film. Arjun has teamed-up with Alia for the first time in this film.
