With numerous issues on the border and a number of other issues inside out nation, now another shocking news has come to light! The Delhi Police have conducted an encounter and arrested 5 people, who are suspected to have terrorist links. This incident happened earlier today, at the East Shakarpur area, in Delhi. Reports state that 1 of the arrested people is suspected to be linked to the killing of Balwinder Singh Bhikhiwind, a Shaurya Chakra awardee.
Further reports state that among the remaining 4 people, 3 are suspected to have links to the dreaded Hizbul Mujahideen! Of the 5 arrested people, two are from Punjab and 3 are from Jammu & Kashmir and the preliminary probes have given rise to suspicion that these men could have links to Khalistan and other Islamic terror organisations. This arrest was made by the Delhi Police's Special Cell. The DCP of the Special Cell - Pramod Kushwaha has revealed that there are 2 components in this issue - namely the Punjab gangster component and the Kashmir component. The Punjab gangster component is said to be involved in contract killing and assasinations while the Kashmir component is said to involve in selling drugs and terror financing.
The DCP is also said to have revealed that the arrested Kashmiris could also be called "Overground Workers" of the Hizbul Mujahideen. He added that these men have a set-up in Pakistan and their counterparts in Pakistan occupied Kashmir with the ISI acting as a glue between these two. The weapons seized in today's arrest, were said to be similar to the ones used in Balwinder Singh Bhikhiwind's murder in October. The Punjab Police are said to be investigating this issue now.
