Hollywood Actor Sylvester Stallone's Creed 2 has officially hit screens and it has gained a tremendous response from fans all over the world. The actor was once again seen playing the role of the legendary boxer Rocky Balboa, Creed 2 also brought back Dolph Lundgren as the Russian boxer Ivan Drago.


Recently Stallone had said in an official statement that his days as iconic on-screen boxer Rocky Balboa are officially over. The 72-year-old legend posted a video on Instagram where he Creed 2  marks his “last rodeo” as Rocky aka Italian Stallion, a character he played in eight films over 40 years. The actor added that the story of Rocky has been told and it's time for a whole new world that gonna open up for the audience of this generation. He thanked the director and Michael for making the journey possible. Now it’s Michael’s time to carry the mantle forward.


Stallone had played the iconic boxer first in the 1976  feature film “Rocky”, which was written and directed by Stallone.  The film also bagged three Oscar’s At the 49th Academy Awards, including the Best Director and the Best Picture. Since then, the franchise has seven sequels to its credit : “Rocky II” (1979), “Rocky III” (1982), “Rocky IV” (1985), “Rocky V” (1990), “Rocky Balboa” (2006), “Creed” (2015) and “Creed II” (2018).
