The 2nd Annual Techofes Awards - a prestigious ceremony, took place at the College of Engineering, Guindy. Many celebrities were present at the occasion for receiving their awards, which were shortlisted by the votes of the students and public. Actor Vijay made his presence felt and was honoured for his performance in Thalaivaa.
The Paradesi team won many awards yesterday and G.V. Prakash, who bagged the award for the Best Music Director for this film stated that director Bala had personally asked him to receive the awards as he could not be present at the venue. Actress Vedhika, Kathir of Madha Yaanai Kootam fame, Saindhavi, Adharvaa, Atlee, Samuthirakani, Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, Vishnuvardhan, Anu Vardhan and many more celebrities were among the winners' list.
