Shwetha, who made her debut in M-town with Fazil’s Living Together, is making her Tamil debut with Nedunchaalai opposite Aari (of Rettaisuzhi fame), directed by Krishna of Sillunu Oru Kadhal fame. The movie also stars Bollywood actor Prashant Narayanan, Thambi Ramaiah and Malayalam actor Salim Kumar in prominent roles.
The shooting of the movie is currently progressing in Salem, Tamil Nadu. When the Nedunchaalai team was shooting for an action sequence, the film’s female lead Shwetha rode the bike over Aari. The actor suffered a fracture and was bleeding. Though Aari had a severe pain, the star only finished the action sequence and went to the hospital for the treatment. The dedication shown by Aari is well appreciated by the Nedunchaali unit members.
