A.R. Rahman's global show on water shortage

Oscar-winning Indian music maestro A.R. Rahman will be performing a global show on water shortage at the International Space Station (ISS) along with renowned Indian environmentalist Vandana Shiva.

Guy Laliberte, the circus entrepreneur, will be the host of this two-hour show, which will feature actors, artists, politicians and activists from 14 countries including India, South Africa and Australia.

The "Poetic Social Mission" will see each participant reading a section of a poem, stressing the need for everyone to have access to clean water, followed by a musical or artistic performance.

Shiva will narrate a section that will be followed by a video recording of a performance by A.R. Rahman in Mumbai. The show will be aired live on the website of Laliberte’s water charity 'One Drop'.
