The 2016 blockbuster computer-animated comedy film The Angry Birds directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly in their directorial debuts and written by Jon Vitti featured the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Sean Penn and many more. The film based on Rovio Entertainment's video game series of the same name was produced by Columbia Pictures and Rovio Animation and distributed by Sony Pictures. The film received decent reviews from critics and managed to taste success at the box office becoming the second highest-grossing film of all time to be based on a video game.
Following the success of the film, the makers announced the sequel of the film titled The Angry Birds Movie 2. The sequel of the film is directed by Thurop Van Orman, co-directed by John Rice, and written by Peter Ackerman, Eyal Podell, and Jonathon E. Stewart. The film retained the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader and Peter Dinklage. Leslie Jones, Rachel Bloom, Nicki Minaj, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, and Eugenio Derbez where the new ones to join the cast of the film.
Following the reception for Hollywood movies in India, the majority of the films have been dubbed into major languages in the country to cover more audience over the years. On the lines of Avengers and the recent release The Lion King, The Angry Birds 2 will also be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. With huge expectation, the film is set it hit the screens on August 23rd. With the big release ahead, the official Tamil Dubbed trailer has been released. The dubbed version has some laughable dialogues in a way of attracting different age groups.
