Shweta Basu with Balaji N. Sai?
Child artist-turned-heroine Swetha Basu Prasad of�Kotha Bangaru Lokam (KBL) fame, who is currently busy with director Ramesh Varma's forthcoming Ride, starring Tanish, Nani and Aksha in the lead, will reportedly be the heroine in a new film to be directed by Balaji N. Sai under the banner of Ratna Celluloids. More details are awaited.
Meanwhile, Ride, produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions, is all set to grace theatres on May 9. The story, screenplay and direction are by the director himself. Ride has Ahuti Prasad, Viswanath Kasi, Tulasi, Sudha, Gourav, Brahmanandam, Hema, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Rajitha, Deekshitulu, Gayatri and Ushasri in the cast.
Lyrics are by Bhaskara Bhatla, camera is by Shyam K. Naidu, editing is by Marthand K. Venkatesh and art is by Chinna. The major highlight of this film is that Balakrishna's most memorable mass masala song 'Danchave menatha koothura' from Mangammagari Manavadu (1984) is being remixed by noted singer Hema Chandra, who is making her debut as music director.
