Praneetha in Telugu opposite Siddharth
Popular Kannada actress Praneetha will be the heroine in Tollywood hero Siddharth’s Bava, directed by debutant Ram Babu and produced by M.L. Kumar Chowdary under the banner of Sri Keerthi Combines. The actress will be playing the role of a village belle, unlike her modern girl’s role in her first Kannada film Porki.
"I am really happy with this new development. The director says he was looking for a face that typified both tradition and modernity and I suited the role best. I am eager to work with Siddharth, who has proved his merit in many Tamil, Telugu and even Hindi films," Praneetha said.
A complete family entertainer set in a village backdrop, Bava has Siddharth playing a naughty Krishna, while National award winning actor Dr. Rajendra Prasad appears as Siddharth’s father. Chakri composes music. Aravind Krishna handles cinematography. Dialogues are by Chintapalli Ramana and editing by Gautham Raju. Bava is presented by Sandeep. The shooting is in progress.
