Mani Ratnam to launch Radha's younger daughter?
Yesteryear heroine Radha’s elder daughter Karthika debuted recently with Naga Chaitanya starrer Josh (Telugu), followed by much acclaimed Jiiva starrer Ko (Tamil), and according to new developments, now its the turn of her younger sister Tulasi.
If sources are to be believed, ace Mani Ratnam has chosen Tulasi to play the female lead in his upcoming bilingual (Telugu and Tamil), which has veteran Tamil hero Karthik's son and debutant Gautham as the hero. (Notably, it was earlier reported that Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan would play the heroine in this flick).
Though Radha felt that Tulasi is very young and not yet ready for films, Mani Ratnam convinced her, saying that she fits in the role perfectly. Radha couldn’t refuse, it is heard. Sources close to the director say that the project will be a pure love story on the lines of Mouna Raagam and Alaipayuthey. Ace writer Jagmohan has penned the story while A.R. Rahman is likely to be the music director.
