Leading Tollywood producer Ashwini Dutt, who made yesteryear blockbuster Jagadeka Verudu Athiloka Sundari (JVAS) with Chiranjeevi in the lead, said that he wanted to veteran Telugu director K. Raghavenddra Rao to remake JVAS.

The producer was talking during the annual CineMaa Awards function held in Hyderabad on Sunday, in which K. Raghavendra Rao was honoured by Kamal Haasan with Life Time Achievement award for his contribution to South Indian film industry.

Showering praises on Raghavenddra Rao, Ashwini Dutt said that the directed wielded the megaphone for more than 100 films out of which nearly 80 films were super hits. Calling it a great feat, the producer christened the director as 'Bhagawadh Gita' for the Telugu box office.
