Even though Superstar's Lingaa was a big dud at the box office, one man who was at the gaining end was producer Rockline Venkatesh--although he denied the requested compensation for distributors. However, now Rajinikanth has assured that the rights if his upcoming film Kabali will be given those who distributed Lingaa. This is to compensate the distributors from all the states. Rockline Venkatesh has recently grabbed the Karnataka rights for a whopping price and he is also planning to buy the release rights in few other states. This has reportedly not gone well with the distributors in Tamil and Telugu due to the loss they suffered in Lingaa.
