Vijay Antony's Salim, directed by N.V. Nirmal Kumar which was expected to hit screens on July 25, will release on August 1. The film also stars Aksha Pardasany and Azmath Shariff in the lead roles. The film marks Vijay's next big venture after Naan and is being jointly produced by Studio 9 Productions, Sri Green Productions and Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
Premgi plays a significant role in the film. The songs which got released recently, have been declared as a chart-buster hit.
