Sri Thenandal films has bagged then release rights of STR's upcoming romantic comedy, Idhu Namma Aalu, which is likely to hit the screen in February or March. It is heard that one song is yet to be shot and the team is likely to begin the shoot soon.

Written and directed by Pandiraj, the film stars STR and Nayantara and has been facing delays for quite a long time. The film also stars Andrea, Soori and Santhanam in pivotal roles. Produced by STR's father, T. Rajendar, the film is the debut venture of STR's brother Kuralarasan as a music director.
