After Oru Oorla Rendu Raja, actor Vemal’s upcoming film is Maapillai Singam in which he is paired with actress Anjali. Comedy actor Soori has been roped in to provide the comic relief in this commercial entertainer.
We hear that the makers have zeroed in on a foreigner Adam Greig, to play the role of a comedian along with Soori. Adam will be seen in the traditional Indian attire of Dhoti and shirt along with kumkum on his forehead. He will join the sets of the film in Theni in a few days.
Adam Greig is a department head in A.R. Rahman’s music school, KM Conversatory. Reportedly, he immediately accepted the offer when the makers approached him.
