We have already reported that actor Madhavan will play the lead role in the Tamil remake of Malayalam superhit Charlie, which has Dulquar Salman and Parvathy in the lead. Now, the latest is that Premam actress Sai Pallavi will make her Tamil debut through this remake, The Tamil version will be directed by Vijay. The remake rights have been bagged by Prateek Chakravorty (grandson of Pramod Chakravorty) along with Shruti Nallappa.
Charlie portrays the love story of a free-spirited, narcissistic girl Tessa (Parvathy), who runs from home to avoid her marriage and Charlie (Dulquer Salman), a histrionic young wanderer.
