The first look of ace director Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai has already created a lot of stir in the industry. The first schedule has already kickstarted in Ooty and the latest to join the sets is veteran actor Delhi Ganesh. Karthi will be playing the role of a pilot who will fall in love with a doctor (played by Aditi) while on a trip to India.
AR Rahman is the music director while Ravi Varman will take care of the lens. From the first look, it looks like the film will be an intense love story with a war backdrop. The film will be jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Thenandal Films.
