Shweta Menon, the sizzling siren of Mollywood, always hogs the limelight, wherever she is! However, ever since she agreed to let director Blessy film her pregnancy and delivery for their upcoming movie Kalimannu, and the filming also happened, she has been facing heat from all quarters! Now, she has been condemned by the Kerala Film Exhibitors, for commercializing the most private affair of a woman! The Exhibitor's Federation has also said that they would boycott Kalimannu, if Blessy included the delivery scene in it. The protestors state that this is a commercial movie, and not a medicinal movie, so they will not allow it to be screened!
However, Shweta and Blessy are being supported by FEFKA, who say that these controversies are baseless, and that this is not the first time that a delivery has been canned! They also state that there is a censor board to look into such issues, and they will take care of it! Kalimannu is said to be a movie which shows the bond between a mother and child right from pregnancy. Let us wait for the movie to hit the screens!
