Earlier, there were reports that National Award winner Vidya Balan would be playing the female lead in Mammootty and Prithviraj's upcoming movie. However, the latest buzz is that Nayantara, who is making a comeback to cinema with a slew of movies, will be replacing Vidya Balan. Nayantara was taking a long and self-imposed hiatus from movies, and there was speculation that she would quit movies overall, post her marriage to Prabhudheva! Unfortunately, the couple broke up, and after they parted ways, Nayantara made a huge comeback to movies, and is currently working on quite a number of movies in Tamil and Telugu.
This upcoming movie, Arival Chutika Nakshatram, is to be directed by Amal Neerad, and will have Prithviraj playing the baddie, to hero Mammootty! Shankar, who penned the script of the super hit movie Urumi, is in charge of this movie's script too!
