Popular actress Ineya has been roped in as the lead lady for the upcoming film In the Lime Light. It can be recalled that esteemed film journalist John Brittas is making his debut with this film. Madhu Kaithapram is the director of the film. It can be recalled that Rima Kallingal was initially selected as the female lead, but was later replaced by Ineya. Coincidentally the film's title has also been changed. The makers named it In the Silver Light but again officially confirmed the title as In the Lime Light.

Manoj K Jayan and Prathap Pothen will be seen playing key roles. The main storyline revolves around immigrants. The unit has decided the main location as Oman, to shoot the film. The most renowned and famous writer CV Balakrishnan has written the screenplay for the movie.
