Jiah Khan, the B-town actress who debuted with Nishabd, committed suicide recently. This came as a shock to one and all, and has been sending shock waves across the cine industries. Ram Gopal Varma, who directed her debut movie, has come out and apologised to the actress. He has said that Jiah had recently approached him, and asked to cast her in any of his films. However, not finding any role suitable for her, he had said that he would let her know if such a role came by. Though RGV thought that news of Jiah's death were just rumours intially, he was very saddened when they were confirmed. Not knowing that Jiah had been waiting for a long time for roles, RGV had asked her to wait a little while more for the right role. RGV went on to say that he should have spent more time with her, and instilled more hope in her. He apologised to her for being one of the many people to have made her dream big.
