Vignesh Shivan is a hit filmmaker who made films including Podaa Podi, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Thaana Serndha Koottam and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. His latest film, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, was released last year with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha in lead roles. The director and one of the leading actresses of South India Nayanthara got married last year. The first interview of 'Game Changers with Suhasini Maniratnam' was with the talented director Vignesh Shivan. When the host of the show asked what family means to him, the filmmaker said “I am lucky to have this time with my babies, or else, at this time I would be in shoot and working for it. so, Even if a film does not work something else big happens. The day before yesterday, I took them outside at around 4.30 PM - 5.00 PM because they like breeze and all. At that time, he smiled widely and I took many photos of him. I would not have been able to take that photo, if I was in a shoot. So, to take that photo, something else did not happen for me. This is how I would calculate".
“Like you said, I am a very rooted family person. Like, I want to take care that everything is going right for my mom and sister and then my wife, my babies, and my in-laws, my mother-in-law. We are very close. My and Mother-in-law are very close. Like, I have a brother-in-law, but she is close with me than him. Her name is Omana Kurian. She is very sweet, I have not seen a pure soul like her, She is so pure”, shared Vignesh Shivan candidly about his family.
