It looks like family hero Srikanth is trying to strike a balance between playing leading hero and special roles in films! After playing Laxmana in Balakrishna's super hit mythological film Sri Ramarajyam, family hero Srikanth essays the special role in Shadow, starring Venkatesh and Taapsee.
"His role is quite crucial for the film and he is doing a good job," director Meher Ramesh said. Venkatesh plays an underworld don with multiple shades in mass entertainer, produced by Paruchuri Kireeti under the banner of United Productions.
This action-adventure recently completing its long Malaysia schedule, in which the director filmed a song and a few high voltage action scenes on Venkatesh and others. S.S. Thaman has composed the tunes. The film is slated for January 2013 release.
