Actress-singer Shruthi Haasan, who is basking the success of Gabbar Singh, has reportedly agreed to play the heroine opposite young Telugu hero Ram in his Kandireega 2.
"However, nothing is fixed yet,” a source close to the star said. Talking about the actress' career post Gabbar Singh, the source further said: "Her talent was always appreciated but now the success has given her an added impetus."
Launched recently at Ramanaidu Studios, Kandireega 2 is said to be a sequel to Kandireega. Directed by Santosh Srinivas, this film is set to go on the floors soon after the release of Ram's Endukante Premanta. S.S. Thaman has been roped to compose the music.
