Reportedly, actress Kriti Kharbanda has been selected as the heroine opposite Ram in his upcoming film Ongole Gitta, being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar.
The crew was struggling hard to find a heroine and initially, actress Shubha Phutela was roped as the heroine, but a schedule in Guntur, she walked out of the project. Later, the unit considered a debutant Nikitha, but that too did not work out.
Sources said that Kriti Kharbanda has already joined the set in Tanuku. This romantic entertainer is produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. G.V. Prakash Kumar composes the music.
