Tollywod’s senior actress and actor Ravi Kondala Rao's wife Radha Kumari passed away on Thursday (March 8) at her residence in Hyderabad. She breathed her last after suffering a heart attack. She was 70 and is survived by son R.V. Sashikumar.
Born in a middle class family in Vizianagaram, she was fond of acting and turned stage artiste at the age of 12. She entered into films in 1962 through Tene Manasulu, directed by Adurthi Subba Rao, and acted in over 400 films so far.
Radha Kumari and her husband Ravi Kondala Rao had acted in many films as pair. At the time of Radha Kumari's dismise, Kondal Rao was on the way to America to attend in a program. On hearing the sad news, he returned to India from Dubai airport.
