Mallikarjuna Rao on ventilator
Cine actor and noted comedian Mallikarjuna Rao was admitted to Apollo hospital in a serious condition early last morning. Senior doctor Hari Prasad informed the gathered media persons that he is in a very serious condition and has been put on ventilator support.
Mallikarjuna Rao has been diagnosed with acute leukaemia. He was bleeding from his nose and ears when he was admitted into the hospital. Prominent personalities of the film fraternity, including Chiranjeevi, Nagababu, Rajasekhar, etc. visited him. Doctors say that his condition cannot be predicted for the next 24 hours.
Popularly known as Battala Satyam, a role Mallikarjuna Rao played in Ladies Tailor, he has played many key roles in films like Sri Kanaka Mahalaxmi Recording Dance Troupe, April 1 Vidudala, Avunu Vallidaru Ishtapaddaru, Hello Brother, Shri 420, Alibaba Aradajanu Dongalu, Jambalakadi Pamba and many more.
