Mahesh-Trivikram to shoot in Namibia?

Trivikram’s under production film starring Mahesh Babu will be flying to Rajasthan on November 15th for a hectic shooting schedule where the producer hopes to wrap up the main scenes and some songs. Parvati Melton is the main female lead. Singanamala Ramesh is producing this extravaganza under Kanakaratna Movies banner.

The movie, which was called Varudu, is now again nameless as the director feels that Mahesh Babu’s image deserves something more polished. Another reason for the name change is that the script has gone from romantic entertainer to action entertainer. Mahesh Babu will be essaying the role of a taxi driver. Comedian Sunil and Prakashraj have important roles as well.

Meanwhile, director Trivikram and cinematographer Sunil Patel have flown to the African country of Namibia to scout for suitable shooting locations. Though the film has yet to get into production, Trivikram is ensuring smooth shooting and post-production process so that the movie would wrap up fast and be ready for release next year.

Insiders say that a song sequence and a couple of stunt sequences will be shot in the planned Namibian schedule. Raju Sundaram, Saroj Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant are the dance choreographers in the movie.

Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas teamed up previously for Athadu, which was one of the high points in the director’s career.
