Jeevitha-Rajasekhar meet Chandrababu Naidu
Actor-turned-politician Rajasekhar and his wife (actress Jeevitha), who quit Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy's YSR Congress Party on Friday last week, officially met Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu and expressed their wish to join his party.
Denying rumours spreading in political circles that Jeevitha would be posted as the chief of TDP women’s wing Telugu Mahila or might be offered some other important post in the party, the couple said they just met Babu and expressed their wish to support him.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly told them not to air independent views as his party has certain principles. However, he welcomed their decision to join TDP, it is said.
