Jagapathi Babu with Madhan

After the success of the family entertainer Pellaina Kothalo (2006), Jagapathi Babu is all set to team up again with director Madhan in a yet-to-be-titled film, produced by Tolly to Holly production house. This film is expected to start on February 18. Music is scored by M.M. Keeravani. More details are awaited.

Meanwhile, Jagapathi Babu's forthcoming Siddham, directed by J.D. Chakravarthy (refered to as J.D. within Tollywood), has been slated for release on February 12, Jagapathi Babu's birthday. Siddham is the story of Daya Nayak, a famous encounter specialist in Mumbai. Sindhu Menon is the heroine. According to sources, the film is a sequel to Jagapathi Babu-Chakravarthy's Homam, which was also the story of an undercover cop.

Notably, Kota Prasad, son of popular South Indian actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, makes his debut as an actor in Siddham, produced by Kiran Kumar Koneru under the banner of Shreya Productions. Since actor Rajasekhar’s cop movie Satyameva Jayathe is releasing on the very next day (February 13), the competition between the two films at the box office is expected to go high in the coming days. The title Siddham was selected after considering Maarana Homam and Moksham.
