Young music director G.V. Prakash Kumar, nephew of Madras Mozart A.R. Rahman, is all set to turn as a hero.

As per reports, he will handle the lead role in noted director A.R. Murugadoss' upcoming production venture, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual likely to go onto sets in January next year. The venture will be helmed by one of Murugadoss' assistants.

"Talks are on with the composer to play the hero because it's a musical subject and the producer is convinced that he will be apt for the role. The cast and crew of the untitled film are yet to be disclosed. Once everything is finalised, an official launch will be made," a source said.
