Hyderabad is grandly welcoming the 18th edition of the Children Film Festival India (ICFFI). The film festival also known as The Gold Elephant has received almost 894 entries for screening of films. Out of which the best 200 films sourced from more than 45 countries will be showcased. This is the first time the festival will hold a special animation section. Almost 1.5 lakh children are expected to attend the festival. The Czech Republic will be the country in focus, and the festival will feature 15 films from it. This is being done in collaboration with the Zlin Film Festival which is the oldest children's film festival in the world. The highlight of the festival is Bollywood Star Ranbir Kapoor, who will grace the occasion with his presence. The actor will be inaugurating the festival.
