Gracy Singh's Aseema
After his striking performance in the recent Mammootty starrer Loudspeaker (Malayalam), popular Hindi-Telugu-Kannada actress Gracy Singh, best known for her role as Gauri in Aamir Khan starrer Lagaan (2001), is currently busy with director Sishir P. Mishra's Hindi film Aseema, produced by Kabi Mohanty.
Based on the widely acclaimed Oriya novel 'Aseema' written by noted Oriya poet-author-novelist Sailaja Kumari Aparajita Mohanty, Aseema is a heartwarming story set in the 80s, in which Gracy Singh plays the character of Aseema.
A rollercoaster ride of multiple emotions, it elevates womanhood to a new�level and presents her disciplined determination and patience to achieve her goals single-handedly, reports said.
The other star cast of the film includes Aseem Merchant, Neha Pendse, Kiran Kumar, Namrata Thapa, Surendra Pal, Aryan and Siddhant.
