Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated magnum opus, RRR, is all set to hit the screens on October 13, this year. Yes! The breaking announcement was made this afternoon by the makers and the news has created a sensational buzz. The film was initially scheduled to release for this year’s Sankranthi festival but the plans were changed due to the Covid-19 situation and now it has been revealed that the film will be released on October 13. It will be a 5-day weekend and the movie is surely going to have a mega grand opening at the box office. Rajamouli became a worldwide sensation after the blockbuster success of the Baahubali franchise and RRR happens to be his next big release after Baahubali 2.

On that note, the trade experts are eagerly waiting to see how the film performs and it is also going to be interesting to see the reception of the audience. RRR stands for Roudram Ranam Rudhiram in its original Telugu version, while the Tamil dubbed version is called Raththam Ranam Rowthiram. Rajamouli had stated that the film's release date will be officially announced only when the shooting gets completed and asked the fans to be patient. The entire shooting was completely wrapped up a few weeks before and as promised, Rajamouli made the release date announcement today. RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles and the film surely sounds exciting just for its fantastic star cast.

Multistarrers have always had a special connection with Indian cinema and the most recent example was Thalapathy Vijay - Vijay Sethupathi starrer Master. Director Rajamouli and the team of RRR are currently busy with the post-production works which are said to be happening in full swing. The film's two teasers which released last year received a very good response from the fans. RRR is an action drama set in the period times and it is based on the real life stories of India's freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan will play Sitarama Raju's character while Komaram Bheem will be essayed by Jr NTR.
