Director Vetri Maaran's Viduthalai Part: 1 is set to release on March 31. The film has massive anticipation as it is the next release of the national award-winning director after Dhanush starrer Asuran, that was released in 2019. The two-part film Viduthalai has actor Soori in the lead role and 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi in important role. The film revolves around the low-level cop played by Soori. It is back-rolled by RS Infotainment and has star cast of Chetan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Ilavarasu, Munnar Ramesh and Saravana Subbiah. The film has music composed by Maestro Ilayaraja.
