Vasanth Ravi is an upcoming actor who made his debut with Taramani. The next film of the actor as lead is Asvins which is a psychological thriller. The film is to be released in theatres today. Ahead of the release of the film, the actor sat down for an exclusive interview with the national award-winning film critic Baradwaj Rangan, the editor-in-chief of Galatta Media. He is also a part of the anticipated film Jailer. The actor spoke about his interaction with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth during the interviews. He said Rajinikanth asked him how he did the action scenes in Rocky. Vasanth Ravi revealed that Superstar said to him “We know as an artist how hard it is, but the viewers won't know, especially that wide shot where the corridor will have many stunt man”.

When asked about 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's acting in Jailer and if it influenced the actor somehow, Vasanth Ravi said "Nelson sir gives the dialogue paper and he would get into the performed, he will keep saying those dialogues to himself. In one shot, I was there, He kept rehearsing those lines and kept repeating it". The actor said before the scene 'Superstar' will be very calm, like in meditation zone and when they call take he would go into that thought process. He further revealed he learnt many things just by seeing him. He said "Whatever is said I feel, he is one of the most natural and realistic actors. Because doing commercial cinema realistically and convincingly is difficult.”. 

The actor Vasanth Ravi further said that he likes to keep rehearsing the scene he is going to perform from when he arrives and Rajinikanth had also asked him about it and appreciated him.
