Maaveeran is the next big film of actor Sivakarthikeyan after Prince, that is directed by Madonne Ashwin ,who won a National award for his previous film Mandela. It has created huge excitement among fans as its shows the actor in a whole new shade. The film also has Aditi Shankar playing the female lead and it's the second project for the actress after Karthi’s Viruman who is the daughter of blockbuster director Shankar. It has a huge star cast and has music composed by Barath Sankar. The makers have dropped the second single from the film.

The second single is a musical treat from the hero and heroin of Maaveeran, Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar. It has music composed by Bharath Sankar and has lyrics penned by Yugabharathi. The song titled Vannaperttaiyila is a romantic and peppy number and the lyrics video shows that has dropped. The 3 and a half minute long song video shows the two actor enjoying. while singing the songs. Aditi also steals some lines of Sivakarthikeyan and sings them. The video also shows some behind the scene making of the film and shows the character played by the actors working in the same office. It shows Sivakarthikeyan as a cartoonist working in a regional newspaper. The sing then ends shows the on-sceen couple enjoying the song.

The first single, which was sung by Anirudh Ravinchander, was released in February titled Scene Ah Scene Ah. It looks like it will be an dance number from the film featuring the hero. Apart from Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar, director Mysskin is playing the antagonistic role and actress Saritha and actor Yogi Babu are in supporting roles.
