When asked what he thinks would be the reason behind not revealing the characters of Mohanlal, Tamannaah, and some other actors in the trailer, The actor Udhay Mahesh replied that there would be different approaches for different directors, "Because I am a director too, I am saying that some directors will reveal some things only when in some situations. They will only reveal it slowly. It will add value to the story. I think that is how they have planned it too", said the actor.
When asked what kind of treat ‘Superstar Rajinikanth fans can expect Jailer in theatres, The actor said, "Mass, it will be mass; Nelson’s humour sense and Thalaivar's Mass will be present in the film." The film has an excting cast that includes The cast of the film includes top-tier Malayalam actor Mohanlal, Kannada icon Shiva Rajkumar, Bollywood star Jackie Shroff, Tollywood actor Sunil, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishann, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, and others. The film also has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the songs from the film were unveiled at a grand event recently. Now all eyes are on August 10 for the release of Jailer.
