Mirnaa reveals how she came onboard 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Jailer, says "I agreed immediately when I heard..." - EXCLUSIVE

Mirna is a popular actress who has played important roles in many Malayalam and Telugu films. The actress made her debut in Tamil with the film Burqa, and her next film is the 'Superstar' Rajinikanth starrer Jailer. The film has created huge excitement among fans and movie goers as it is helmed by director Nelson Dilipkumar and is set to release in theatres in August. Ahead of the release of the film, the actress Mirna gave an exclusive interview to Galatta Media. When asked how she joined the cast of the film and when she got the call from the team for the opportunity, The actress shared, "I know Nelson sir from Beast time. He was doing beast at that time and I was doing films in other languages."

Actress Mrina explained "Jailer was then announced, I was following it. And suddenly, one day I got a call from his associate." The actress then said that the associate director had told her that director Nelson Dilipkumar wanted to meet her. The actress said, "At that time, I thought all the casting for Jailer would be over, and I thought it was for a future project." She then added with excitement, "I said I would do it immediately when I heard it was for Thalaivar's film." She said that despite that reaction the director explained the character and the character line and everything ro her and asked if she would do it, and "I agreed immediately", said the actress.

Jailer, starring 'Superstar' Rajinikanth as the lead character, created huge excitement among fans and movie buffs. A trailer for the film was released recently as a showcase and went viral. The glimpse video shows the actress Mrinaa would be playing the role of a member of the family of Muthuvel Pandian (Rajinaknth’s character in the film). It is set to release in multiple languages across India next week.
