'Thalapathy' Vijay is kicking off 2023 with the highly-anticipated Varisu releasing in cinemas worldwide for Pongal and the film is gearing up to be the biggest theatrical outing for the actor in his illustrious career. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the upcoming film is a family entertainer and features music composed by Thaman. S, whose songs have already turned out to be massive hits and are currently reigning at the top of the charts. With fans everywhere waiting with bated breath to witness Vijay on the big screens after Beast released last year, the much-awaited Varisu trailer has now been officially released and gives us our first big action-packed glimpse of the superstar.
The Varisu trailer starts off with Jayasudha talking about the importance of the family bond and Suman then asking Sarathkumar about his sons. Suman then queries Sarathkumar about his last son and Vijay is introduced in a spectacular colorful manner to the 'Vaa Thalaivaa' song elevating the visuals tenfold. The trailer then progresses to give us a glimpse into Vijay as a happy-go-lucky photographer, while also showing us his bond with his mother. The visuals give us a hint at the big business the family is running with Sarathkumar, Shaam, and Srikanth leading the way, while Prakash Raj is shown to be their rival. The Varisu trailer then progresses to show us Vijay exploding onto the scene and coming to the rescue of his family, while also romancing youth heart-throb Rashmika Mandanna.
Vijay is seen once again at his elegant best tapping into the mass factor in the Varisu trailer and delivering back-to-back punch dialogues at every juncture. The makers have packaged the trailer with all commercial elements and fans can expect a thorough family entertainer when the film arrives in theatres in the next few days.
