First big glimpse of Thala Ajith's Valimai bike stunt scene - pic goes viral!
A film that is hot on the radar of Tamil cinema lovers, especially among 'Thala' Ajith's fans, is his upcoming Valimai, which recently wrapped an important schedule at the grand Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Being directed by H. Vinoth under the Bayview Projects LLP banner, the upcoming film is touted to be an intense action thriller that will also cater to family audiences as per producer Boney Kapoor, with Ajith also confirmed to be performing daring stunts on the motorbike once again after he was last seen executing such sequences in his previous three releases - Vivegam , Viswasam and Nerkonda Paarvai.
In that light, a new picture of Ajith performing a stunt sequence on a motorbike from Valimai has now dropped on social media platforms and has shot to becoming viral within minutes. This first glimpse has come as a big treat for the superstar's fans, who have been waiting a long time for a look at Ajith in the film. Although no poster or any visuals have been officially released, this latest shooting spot still of Ajith from Valimai proves he will continue to treat his fans with what he does best - deliver action on the bike as he has done over the years in numerous films. The still also confirms that Valimai will include thrilling action sequences, with reports a while stating the film will also be centering around bike racing as a moving theme in the narrative. Check out Ajith in action below:
Ajith's Valimai was the first big Tamil film production venture to resume shooting after the government lifted the pandemic lockdown restrictions, with filming carried out as per the COVID-19 norms. Ajith had incidentally sustained an injury during the recently-concluded second schedule of Valimai when he was shooting for an action scene that involved him riding the motorbike, with the actor since then on a break for recovery.
With the third schedule yet to begin, Valimai is the second consecutive time Ajith, H. Vinoth, composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and producer Boney Kapoor are collaborating after last year's critical and commercial hit Nerkonda Paarvai, which was an official remake of the hit Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink. Apart from Ajith, Valimai will also include Karthikeya who is speculated to be playing the antagonist, with Kaala fame Huma Qureshi as the female lead, followed by Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa, Saranya Ravichandran among others forming the supporting cast.
