SHOCKING: Popular editor passes away - one more big loss for Tamil cinema!
Early this morning (Nov 4), popular editor Kola Bhaskar passed away and his demise has come as a shocker for the Tamil and Telugu film industries. According to reports, Kola Bhaskar was suffering from throat cancer for the past few years and he breathed his last this morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Kola Bhaskar was a regular member of director Selvaraghavan's movies and the duo have worked together in films like 7G Rainbow Colony, Pudhupettai, Aayirathil Oruvan, Mayakkam Enna, Irandam Ulagam, etc.
Some of the other Tamil films edited by Kola Bhaskar includes Oru Kalluriyin Kadhai, Kedi, Thalapathy Vijay's Pokkiri and Villu, Dhanush's Yaaradi Nee Mohini, 3, and Kutty, Bharath's Kanden Kadhalai, Gautham Karthik's Vai Raja Vai, and more. Kola Bhaskar turned producer with Gitanjali Selvaraghavan's debut directorial - Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam. Kola Bhaskar's son, Balakrishna Kola made his debut as an actor in that film. Kola Bhaskar's demise will definitely be heartbreaking news for Selvaraghavan as the duo has shared a very good friendship ever since Selva's initial days in Tamil cinema.
