The excitement surrounding Lust Stories 2 shot up, especially after the release of its teaser a while back. The upcoming web anthology series will see an ensemble cast featuring the likes of Amruta Subhash, Angad Bedi, Kajol, Kumud Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neena Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tillotama Shome, and Vijay Varma appearing across four different segments. Scheduled to premiere on Netflix on June 29, the global streaming giant has now released a promo with Tamannaah addressing fans on how to watch Lust Stories 2. She is seen telling the viewers that they should not panic and pause the show if someone were to enter the room since the series is more than just 'lust'.
In the promo for the Sujoy Ghosh-directed segment in Lust Stories 2, we see Tamannaah and Vijay Varma play ex-lovers, who share an intimate moment in the kitchen, with the visuals being paused all of a sudden. Next, we see the leading actress explaining to the viewers not to panic and pause the show if someone enters their room suddenly. Tamannaah says, "If someone enters the room, don't panic and pause Lust Stories 2. It has much more than just lust. It has drama, it has romance, it has action. It has mother's love, grandmother's love, ex's love, and maid's love. Don't be fooled by the name. Show it to everyone. What will happen? Will there be a storm? Will the sky fall? Will the Wi-Fi shut down? No, right? Just relax and enjoy."
Lust Stories 2 is carrying tremendous hype since the first season released in 2018 went on to gain a huge viewership and continues to be one of the most successful Indian shows on Netflix. Apart from the Tamannaah and Vijay Varma segment directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the upcoming season will consist of three more segments directed by R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Amit Ravindernath Sharma.
