Symbol: Upendra's trilingual
Kannada superstar Upendra's next film Symbol, which marks the Kannada debut of sensational Nayantara, will be a trilingual to be made in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada by Rockline Venkatesh under the banner of Rockline.
The film, directed by Upendra himself after a gap of 10 years, was recently launched with a pooja performed at Mahalakshmi temple in Seshadripuram, Bangalore. Starring Upendra is in the role of a rich man, the film will be completed in 100 days in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and some European countries. Johny Lal is the cameraman. V. Manohar composes music.
Talking about the film, Upendra said: "I do not want to reveal anything about the film, but I can assure my fans that I have made every effort to meet rising expectations. The longstanding desire was certainly the main factor that influenced me to take up this responsibility. I had to decline some acting offers that came my way, which is only a small sacrifice to satisfy my fans."
