'Superstar' Rajinikanth along with his daughter Aishwarya sought blessings at the Tirupati temple on Thursday morning, December 15, and attended the 'suprabhatam seva' together. The iconic actor and his daughter then visited the Ameen Peer Dargah aka Pedda dargah in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, with Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman. Rajinikanth and Aishwarya reached Tirupati on Wednesday night and took part in the pooja formalities this morning, with photos and videos of their visit to the world-famous temple now taking social media by storm. They also offered Veda Ashirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam after their visit to Tirupati temple. 

Seen in a white kurta and a stubble, which is part of his look for his upcoming film, Jailer, Rajinikanth addressing the media said that he cannot express in words his feelings about the divine experience he has gotten during his visit to Tirupati. When queried about Udhayanidhi Stalin being appointed as the Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, the veteran actor informed that he has already conveyed his hearty wishes and best regards to the actor-politician. Later, Rajinikanth and Aishwarya joined A. R. Rahman in their visit to the Ameen Peer dargah in Kadappa, with the trio being received with a warm welcome by the crowd that had gathered at the holy site. On the work front, Rajinikanth will be seen in a cameo appearance under daughter Aishwarya's direction in the film, Lal Salaam, which will have music by A. R. Rahman. Set to open in cinemas in 2023, the sports film is being produced by Lyca Productions and will star Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles. Recently, Rajinikanth watched A. R. Rahman's directorial debut, the virtual-reality thriller Le Musk, and showered praises for his ambitious effort, with a video released by the composer showing the actor in awe of his latest work. As for Rajinikanth's Jailer, the mass action film is being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the Sun Pictures banner and will see Tamil cinema's 'Superstar' sharing screen space with Ramya Krishnan after a gap of two decades, while Kannada star Dr. Shivarajkumar, Taramani, and Rocky fame Vasanth Ravi, Malayalam actor Vinayakan, comedian Yogi Babu are appearing in supporting roles, with music being composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
