RRR mania is far from over as filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli's 2022 epic action drama film is seeing a huge turnout in cinema halls, including the world’s biggest IMAX theatre, the Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, which witnessed a phenomenal spree after tickets were sold out in 98 seconds upon advance bookings being opened. Screened as an initiative by Beyond Fest, the tickets for the Ram Charan and Jr. NTR-starrer sold like hotcakes in less than two minutes, with the organizers labeling the event as "historic" for an Indian film to date.

In a statement released on Twitter, Beyond Fest wrote, "It's official and it's historic. @RRRMovie sold out the @ChineseTheatres @IMAX in 98 seconds. There has never been a screening like this of an Indian film before because there has never been a film like RRR before. Thank you @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 @AlwaysRamCharan @mmkeeravaani". They also extended their gratitude for such an event to take place tweeting, "And thank you to everyone who bought tickets and we apologize to everyone who wasn't successful. We will have a standby line on the day to fill available seats & will post here if any tix open up.  Bless these heroes @am_cinematheque @VarianceFilms @PotentateFilms @EvrimErsoy".
